Born a natural Seeress and Oracle, Rachel’s work bridges the physical and spiritual realms. Her path into therapeutic yoga began through her lifelong experience with scoliosis and five years spent in a back brace. During her professional dance career, while apprenticing with Radio City, debilitating pain brought her to the world of Yoga for Scoliosis. She began her journey studying the physical body in depth with incredible teachers (Alison West, Deborah Wolk, Elise Browning-Miller, Witold Fitz-Simons, and Amy Matthews in NYC), and found freedom from physical pain. She received her RYT certification under Alison West, as well as additional Back Care and Rope Wall certifications through Yoga Union. Through dedicated self-practice and under the tutelage of her teachers, Rachel’s severe asymmetry has dramatically decreased, and her inner calling to spread this important work became a reality. Rachel went on to create My Sacred Spine™ in 2017, whose online programs have reached students in 125 countries.

As a child, Rachel perceived the subtle energy of people, plants, animals and places, and saw spirits beyond the veil. After quieting this vision for many years, she began seeing spirits again through meditation during her yoga teacher training. As she studied the therapeutics of the spine, her sight became increasingly attuned to the energetic patterns held within the body and the deeper stories asking to be witnessed.

Rachel’s path as a Seeress deepened through pilgrimages to sacred sites across Australia, Peru, England and Ireland. Through the tutelage of Celtic practitioner Suzanne Connelly, Peruvian Chaman Wasi, and Reiki Master and Shamanic Priestess Yukiko Amaya, she honed her understanding of energetic extraction, dreamwalking, psychopomp work, and balancing the energetics within the lands that we inhabit with the homes that we create.

In 2020, Rachel completed a three-year Priestess of Avalon initiation through the Glastonbury Goddess Temple under the guidance of Kathy Jones and Luna Silver. She is also an ordained minister and has studied Cha Dao, the Way of Tea, through Global Tea Hut for nine years.
