Imbolc Tea Ceremony

Late January/Early February is a time in the Celtic Wheel known as Imbolc, when the Old Woman of Winter passes her icy walking staff to the Maiden Goddess, Brigid. As the Brigid takes the staff with childlike awe and curiosity, she strikes the earth and sparks the first rumblings of Spring, deep below the Earth’s surface. This marks the time of year known as The Quickening.
