Please submit any questions through the contact form at the bottom of this page.
What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga Therapy is an individualized practice designed around a person’s body, health history and current needs. It can support those living with scoliosis, back pain, spinal conditions, neurological conditions or mobility limitations. Rather than asking the body to conform to a standard practice, Yoga Therapy adapts the practice to the person.
What is Holistic Yoga?
Holistic Yoga recognizes that our physical health cannot be separated from our energetic and spiritual lives. Rachel’s classes combine alignment-based movement with breath, meditation and sound. The practice changes with the seasons and offers variations for different bodies and levels of experience.
Do I need previous yoga experience?
No. Rachel’s classes welcome beginners as well as experienced practitioners. The practice can be adapted for injuries, chronic pain, pregnancy and postpartum recovery. Please let Rachel know about any relevant conditions before class so she can offer appropriate support.
What is Tea Meditation?
Tea Meditation is a quiet practice centered around traditionally prepared living Tea. The warmth, aroma and sensory experience of Tea offer a simple way to settle the mind and become more present in the body. No prior meditation or Tea experience is needed.
What is a Soul BluePrint ceremony?
A Soul BluePrint is a private ceremony for someone moving through a life transition or seeking insight into an energetic or spiritual concern. Rachel reads the energy field and, with your consent, may channel messages from ancestors, guides or other members of your unseen support system. The intention is not to tell you what path to take, but to reveal the patterns surrounding your present experience and help you reconnect with your own knowing.
What kind of Tea is served during Tea Meditation?
Rachel serves traditionally prepared loose-leaf Tea from the Camellia sinensis plant—the same plant used to make white, green, oolong, black and puerh teas. The specific Tea may change with the season or gathering. Some people who are sensitive to caffeine find this traditionally processed Tea gentler than coffee or conventional tea. A caffeine-free herbal option can be provided upon request.
