Why try this practice?
Unprocessed emotions of overwhelming moments from our past can increase stress in our daily life.
Without integrating these feelings, our nervous system overcompensates, maintaining a state of high-alert (Fight-Flight-Freeze-Fawn Response).
Irritability, outbursts, repression of emotions, or having difficulty making decisions are common traits of this dysregulation.
This state is taxing to our mind and body. Resetting physiological responses takes intentional action.
Reiki Sound Meditation entrains our brain waves, shifting our nervous system into the parasympathetic state and allowing relaxation and restoration to occur non-verbally.
For your holistic health, Reiki Sound Meditation allows your “whole” self to be witnessed without judgement, expanding your capacity for tolerance and resilience.
All without speaking,
just breathing and listening.
Kristin Irwin, a spiritual channel, combines core-shamanic practices with Reiki energy to create individual and group ceremonies. Kristin connects to your extra-sensory intuition to hold space for personal growth: transmuting lifetimes of experiences ranging from trauma, grief, resentments, anger, sadness, disease, and other taboos.
Reiki Sound Meditation
“Ceremony” is a declaration of intention; a time and place to bring our mental aspirations to the physical plane. At Devotion Studio, Reiki Sound Meditation creates a protected space for radical transformations of the Self through non-denominational ceremony.
By expressing gratitude to the powerful elements of the Earth & Cosmos, practitioner Kristin Irwin creates a unique environment to balance the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual facets of ourselves. Utilizing Guided Meditation, Somatic Breathwork, and Soundwaves, Kristin shifts the recipient from beta (thinking) to theta (dreaming) brain waves and activates the parasympathetic nervous system.

Kristin began her academic journey at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she studied Biology and Chemistry while pursuing pre-medical studies. She continued her education at the Community College of Baltimore County, earning National Board Certification as a Radiation Therapist and spending a decade caring for patients in Radiation Oncology.
Her career later took an unexpected turn into the documentary television and film industry, where she spent ten years immersed in storytelling and visual production. This experience sparked a deep fascination with the ways light, sound, design, and environment influence human perception, emotion, and personal transformation.
Drawing from both the sciences and the arts, Kristin's work bridges evidence-informed practices with humanity's enduring connection to sound, music, and ritual. Her unique background allows her to create experiences that honor both the physiology of the body and the innate wisdom of the human spirit.
